Want to grab your reader's attention? Before explaining a new concept, try setting the stage with a relatable anecdote.

This will help get your audience engaged and ready to learn.

Remember content is king.

Need a lean, cohesive site that gets to the point? Consider a content-first approach.

By figuring out your content first and then creating a design to suit, you avoid creating unnecessary content (filler) to fit an elaborate design.

Meet your audience where they're at.

Tempted to write to match your own understanding of a subject? This risks alienating your audience. Instead, research your audience to estimate their typical level of expertise.

Once you have a range, write to meet the lowest level to help ensure everyone gets it.
